    EEP Award Winners 2007
At the EEP Award Ceremony in Paris on November 28, 2007, the Awards of the EEP Award 2007 edition have been announced at the Pollutec TV Stage by representatives of of the EEP (European Environmental Press), the EFAEP (European Environmental Professionals) and Pollutec.

The Jury of he EEP Award 2007 decided to present the awards to the following companies:

Gold EEP Award 2007: Nanovis, Switzerland
Innovation: Nanocleaner NC-350; For cleaning ink-contaminated parts of printing machines.

Silver EEP Award 2007: SkySails, Germany
Innovation: SkySails-System; A towing kite wind propulsion system for ships.

Bronze EEP Award 2007: MAKLAD Fluid, Austria
Innovation: MAKLAD-Injector; An inactivator of the wastewater, by direct supersonic steam injection.

EEP-award 2007: Jury convenes
September 19 and 20, an international jury consisting of representatives of all eighteen EEP-members and three members of the European Federation of Environmental Professionals (EFAEP) met in Paris to decide who are the winners of the 2007 edition of the yearly EEP-award. This award is sponsored by the international environmental exhibition Pollutec which shall be held end of November 2007 in Paris. During Pollutec, the winners of the EEP-award 2007 will be awarded their prices during a ceremony on November 28. During their stay in Paris the jury was invited by Veolia Environmental Services to visit their facilities at Limay. The jury was duly impressed by some of the presentations of recent Veolia-projects.

    July 24, 2006 | EEP-delegation visited Ecomondo 2006 preview
From 12-14 June, an EEP-delegation consisting of journalists of five of the EEP-members, visited Italy for a preview on the coming Ecomondo-show that will be organised by Rimini Fiera from 8 to 11 November of this year. The journalist visited amongst others a facility of Gruppo Fiori in Bologna where several sorts of (non)ferrous metals are being processed.

    EEP delegation visits Ecomondo 2005
The EEP delegation together with Alessandro Piccinini (RiminiFiera), in front of the RiminiFiera building to attend Ecomondo 2005 Fair on 28 October in Rimini, Italy.

Jury for the EEP-award 2005 met in Paris
The jury for the EEP-award 2005 met in Paris, France on September 22 and 23 to discuss the 65 entries received for the 2005 edition of this price for innovation in the field of the environment. From the applications, a final reduction was made to ten nominees. The winners of the golden, silver and bronze award will be made public during the Award Ceremony at the Pollutec show in Paris on 30 December at 12pm at the TV stage. The jury consisted EEP members and representatives of the EFAEP, the European Association of Environmental Experts. During their visit to Paris the jury attended a dinner hosted by Pollutec and ARD Ile-de-France (Regional Development Agency for the Paris Region). The EEP-delegation also visited CIRSEE: Suez Research Center to attend a presentation of a Legionella pilot.

    EEP-delegation visits preview IFAT-fair
An EEP-delegation attended from February 9-11 2005, a preview of the IFAT-fair in Warsaw, Poland. The trip, co-organised by German waste multinational Remondis, focused on the market situation in the new EC-countries. During the preview visits were organised to a water purification plant and a plastics separation installation.

At the EEP Award Ceremony at Pollutec in Lyon on 1 December 2004, the Awards of the 2004 EEP Award edition were announced at the Pollutec TV stage by representatives of the EEP (European Environmental Press), the EFAEP (European Federation of Associations of Environmental Professionals) and Pollutec.

The Jury of the EEP-awards 2004 decided to present the awards to the following companies:

    Jury for the EEP-award met in Lyons
The jury for the EEP-award 2004 met in Lyons, France on September 16 and 17 to dis-cuss the more than 75 applications that have been sent to the jury for the 2004-edition of this price for innovation in the field of the environment. From the applications, a final reduc-tion was made to ten nominees. The winners of the golden, silver and bronze award will be made public during a ceremony at the Pollutec show In Lyons on December 1. The jury consisted of all EEP-members that participated in the award, plus three representatives of the EFAEP, the European Association of Environmental Experts. During their visit to Lyon the jury attended a dinner hosted by Hélène Blanchard, vice president of Environment of the Rhône-Alpes region. The EEP-delegation also visited the CEA/Valrhône facilities in Pi-errelatte where research is being conducted of the process of super critical water oxida-tion.

    EEP delegation visits Abu Dhabi
An EEP-delegation visited 23-28 January 2004 the emirate of Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), being invited by the ministry of Information and the Environment Research and Wildlife Development Agency. The delegation, which consisted of the editors of most of the thirteen EEP-magazines, was briefed on a number of subjects that deal with environment and wildlife within the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Topics were: soil-mapping, wildlife in general and programs to prevent extinction of local species, water desalination, wetlands and public awareness. The delegation made several visits to locations throughout the emirate and was received by the minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikh Nahayan Mubarak Al Nahayan. Within the next few weeks reports on this trip will appear on the EEP-website under the section News.
